<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From my study, reflection, meditation, and experience, I have found that the following are meaningful elements to consider for one\u2019s spiritual practice. These are written from a Buddhist perspective \u2013 however, a number of the elements can have counterparts in other faith traditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because we are each unique, each person\u2019s specific spiritual practice will also be distinctive to them. While the guidance of a qualified spiritual teacher is vital<\/em>, one\u2019s individual practice will nevertheless evolve in a unique way over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although one\u2019s spiritual path may be enriched by insights from another faith tradition, there is no need to abandon one\u2019s own spiritual or faith tradition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following, then, are elements that may enrich one\u2019s existing spiritual practice:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(3) Meditation: Becoming Familiar with the Nature of Mind<\/h6>\n\n\n\n
(4) The Bardos: Living Mindfully in Relation to Both Life and Death<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n
(5) Understanding the Path \u2013 From Here to Enlightenment<\/h6>\n\n\n\n
(6) Mind-Training (Tibetan: lojong<\/em>) <\/h6>\n\n\n\n
